Daniel diSilva

Divine Mercy Tours is proud to partner with filmmaker/author Daniel diSilva on each and every pilgrimage. His knowledge about the city of Vilnius, the Original Image of Divine Mercy, and Saint Faustina and Blessed Fr. Sopocko is unmatched. You couldn't find a "tour guide" that has done more research on these subjects. Because he is the leader and designer of each pilgrimage, we are only able to take a maximum of three trips each year but we also stay a little longer.

During the journey, pilgrims are invited to attend three, one-hour "conferences" which are presentations by diSilva on the historical, theological, and spiritual aspects of what pilgrims are taking in during our time in Vilnius. These short talks help to round out the information that is being presented during the trip as well as offer a time for people to ask any questions that they were holding on to.

Although diSilva will be your guide through Vilnius and the other destinations on your itinerary, occasionally we invite local experts to speak on various topics to enhance the experience for everyone.

A personal note from Daniel

"I would like to take everyone I meet to Vilnius, one person at a time. What happened there in the days if the young Sr. Faustina, when she walked across the cobblestones of Rusu street, blessed herself before the icon of the Mother of Mercy, and breathed the air inside the Vilnius Cathedral has changed the planet. And a lifetime is not long enough to spend in the Shrine if the Original Image of Divine Mercy at Mass or before the Blessed Sacrament with the Merciful Christ looking down from St. Faustina's masterpiece. It's sacramental, emotional, beautiful, and unfathomable. Visit Vilnius and you will never be the same."
